Andrew and Emily- Westfield Marriott Wedding Photographer

“Now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story no one on earth has ever read, which goes on forever; in which every chapter is better than the one before.”
– CS LewisEmily and Andrew absolutely kicked off my fall wedding season with a bang! Their day was just as it should be; gorgeous weather, a joyful couple, all of their favorite people in the world, and vows that will last a lifetime. It was an absolutely honor to be a part of it :)Emily gave me a little sneak peek of her gown and her stunning veil a few weeks before the wedding, and I had been excited since that very moment to photograph her in that gorgeous dress and cathedral length veil! meanwhile the gentlemen were looking good and ready to go! Emily opted to just have her mom and her sister help her into her dress, and it was one of the sweetest moments of the day. Thank you for letting me document it :)Gosh Emily, you are one of the most stunning, classic brides I’ve ever seen!
Then once she was ready to go, she went and did a little ‘first look’ with her bridesmaids! I truly could have done portraits of Emily all. day. LONG. I vote that every bride wear a cathedral veil :) love the movement of the veil blowing in the wind:thanks to Jonathan for this photo of her stunning bouquet!then it was time to get married!! think Andrew was just a little anxious to see his girl? :)Jonathan’s view:and my view:married!!I just so happened to spin around quick enough to snap this little impromptu moment, and I’m SO glad I did! we headed over to Frying Pan Farm Park to take advantage of their beautiful grounds for their wedding party and couple portraits:I’m thinking this next one most definitely needs to be a canvas somewhere in their home :) One of my favorites from the day:
thanks to Jonathan for these next two images:and then it was back to the Westfield Marriott for the reception!everything came together so beautifully!and check out this incredible grooms cake that Emily surprised Andrew with! Any Hokie fans around here?! :) her siblings were pretty impressed with Emily’s new bling ;)Andrew’s brothers gave a great toast:and so did Emily’s sister! ha! this guy in the top left image took the kicks during Cupid Shuffle REALLY seriously ;) thank you both SO much for letting us be a small part of your perfect day!! hope you’re have the best time on your honeymoon! :)
