Allen and Tatem- Virginia Farm Engagement Pictures

So often I find myself looking at other photographers blogs who live on the west cost and I get just plain jealous. Jealous that their clients get to shoot outside in cute sundresses and short sleeves all year long, and they always seem to have the most amazing sunlight that we just don’t get on the east coast. But then I get clients like Allen and Tatem that remind me that my clients are way more awesome than the ones who live on the west coast, because even though it is literally freezing outside, they still trust me and let me drag them around outside for two hours with smiles on their faces. Tatem’s family owns this farm in culpeper and she knew it would be the perfect spot for their engagement session! As soon as I showed up I was like a kid in a candy store, not knowing which direction to take them first! Tatem and Allen, thank you THANK YOU for braving the cold with me! I can’t wait for your wedding in April! :0) My absolute favorite from the day :0) Love everything about this! to say that they were naturals in front of the camera would be the understatement of the year! another favorite: Tatem had completely scoped out the entire property, and this is one of my favorite spots she picked to shoot. Have I mentioned yet how fabulous my clients are?!?I love how asking someone to do a more “serious face” like this: …always turns into a gorgeous smile like this: don’t mind the random cat in the corner, there were about 6 of them that followed us everywhere tryin to sneak into the pictures! :0) HA! I asked them to go stand out in the field a little ways, and of course the only way to get there is to frolic ;0) i told you this one would make the blog! ;0)
Happy Monday :0)
