Aaron and Shelby- Virginia Beach Wedding Photographer

It was almost two years ago when their friends staged an intervention, a little set up, if you will. They knew that Shelby and Aaron would be perfect for each other, but the only problem is that Shelby and Aaron had never met! At another friends wedding, they arranged for the two of them to meet in hopes that they would see what their friends already saw in them; a perfect fit and best friend. Well, Shelby and Aaron have some pretty smart friends, because last Saturday surrounded by their closest family and friends, Aaron, Shelby, and her son Austin officially became a family. That is what the entire day was focused around; Shelby, Aaron, and Austin. Family. Celebrating. Joy. It was such a sweet day to be a part of! Aaron and Shelby are two of the most laid back people I’ve ever met, even when the chaos of the wedding day I never saw a smile leave their face, because it wasn’t about all the little things, it was about marrying their best friend, and nothing could take away from that. Aaron and Shelby, thank you so much for trusting your friends when they said, “hey, there’s someone you should meet…” :0) Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives and document this day for you and your first OFFICIAL family pictures :0) Hope you are having the best time on your honeymoon!!

Make sure you check her blog for some of her favorites from the day! Isn’t Shelby one of the most gorgeous brides you’ve ever seen?!? seriously, this smile didn’t leave her face ALL day :0)I was constantly impressed with Austin all day, he is the most polite, cooperative, smiley little guy and that is such a testimony to Shelby and what an incredible mom she is. It is so clear how much Austin adores her, and I love that he got to be such a crucial part of the day! low-fives for all the groomsmen ;0) This is always one of my favorite shots to grab during the day, the look Aaron’s face right here speaks volumes to how much he adores his wife :0) Aaron and Shelby had the reception at Shifting Sands so we got to do all of their portraits on the beach right outside the club! one of my favorites :0)
it can be tricky doing beach shots to make sure you’re not getting other people in the background, but the beach cleared out for about 2 minutes and I took FULL advantage of an empty background! Love these next couple of their little family of three :0)
Aaron, Austin is SO lucky to have a man like you to love him and look up to! I’m sure if I look through them again I’ll change my mind, but I’m going to go ahead and say this next one is my absolute favorite from the whole day! Love everything about it! first dance: I would LOVE to know what was so hilarious to these two during the first dance ;0) HA! i always love the few exchanges right as they’re cutting the cake ;0) Congratulations again!
