new things are coming!

So, there are new projects in the works for ‘Jessica Smith Photography’ and I am absolutely dying to share them with you!! Projects that I’ve been dreaming up for over a year now, and they are finally in the final stages and I’m bursting at the seams to show them off! I’ve got a great team of people helping to make them a reality, and while they’re not quiiiite ready to be launched yet, I did want to show off one of my favorite pictures that my sweet friend Michelle Cross took for me a couple months ago!

As soon as I realized that I needed a few new bio pictures, I knew Michelle was who I wanted to take them. Her style, her composition, and just her calm nature I knew would be perfect and produce exactly what I had been envisioning for these pictures. Only problem was, she now lives on the other side of the country! California to Virginia is just a little bit too far of a commute for a portrait session, quite unfortunately. Needless to say, I was beyond thrilled when I realized she would be in town shooting a wedding and made sure to do whatever I had to do to grab a little bit of her time! Michelle is one of my absolute favorite people to be around, and I’m very tempted to move to CA just so she and I can hang out on a regular basis again. I love the pictures that she so graciously took for me, and I’m excited to feature some of them in these new projects! Here’s one of my favorites:
