One of the things I love most about my job is the fact that couples not only invite me to attend and document their weddings, but they invite me into their lives as a friend. So when John and Sabrina invited me to join them in Mexico to photograph their wedding, I was SO honored! With destination weddings its just expected that only your closest family and friends will be there, so it means so much that they would invite me to join them and get to know all their favorite people! I could not be more excited to celebrate with them this weekend, and I cannot WAIT to get them in front of my camera tomorrow! Katie and I walked around the resort this evening and picked out so many fun spots to take them for portraits.. get excited, its gonna be good :0)
When we met with John and Sabrina earlier today they had a gift bag all ready for us just like for the rest of their guests, and have gone above and beyond throughout this whole process to make sure we felt welcome and included. John said, “well you’re not just the photographers, you’re friends!”, and with one sentence he completely made my day :0) Have I mentioned lately how much I adore my clients friends? :0) I can’t wait to show you this blue water, gorgeous resort, and ridiculously good lookin’ couple! What a way to kick off my 2011 wedding season, huh?!?
