Luke: 5 Months- McLean VA Baby Photographer

He’s back! :) Baby Luke is already 5 months old and I couldn’t believe how much he had grown since the last time I saw him as a (not so) tiny newborn: Luke was still napping when I showed up for their session, so I spent the first part of it playing outside with miss Ella. Whitney had a gorgeous white dress for Ella that her mom had made for her when she was little, now it was Ella’s turn to wear it! It was a gorgeous morning outside, so we played in their front yard and I love how the sunlight lit up her sweet curls: “if you’re happy and you know it, shout HOORAY!” sweet girl :) one of my favorites! then we headed inside for a little jam session :) possibly my favorite shot from this session. This was right when Luke woke up and Whitney laid him on the couch to change his diaper… clearly he and Ella were excited to see each other :)  I asked Whitney was Luke’s happy place was and she said “you’re looking at it!” apparently toes are the coolest thing ever when you’re 5 months old :) Luke is seriously ready to GO! He about leaped out of this chair multiple times to go over and see his daddy, and if we gave him enough leverage he looked like he could take off crawling! I bet I’m going to be chasing him around next time I see this little man :)
