Adam and Kelsey get the award for having the best attitudes and being the biggest troopers. My heart sunk a little with each mile as I drove to Raleigh on Saturday in the pouring rain for Adam and Kelsey’s engagement session. Every couple deserves 72 degrees and sunshine for their session, but the weather didnt even seem to phase these too. We ended up shooting at their parents house, and came to the agreement that it could rain allllll it wanted for their engagement session, as long as it didnt rain for their wedding this June! In fact, for their first one on one outing, they went to an NC State football game where it poured down rain and soaked them completely, so it was almost a little fitting that it was raining! They threw on their State shirts and went and played football in the rain.. those were some of my favorite pictures as it had so much significance for Adam and Kelsey! We did manage to brave the rain to take a couple on the front porch… I just loved the stone! I believe this was Adam saying ‘its about time she start giving ME some kisses!’ :0) This was my favorite of the day… I used one of my all time favorite songs for your slide show :0)
[…] will remember Kelsey and Adam from their rainy day engagement session last March, and their beautiful summer wedding last June, well we were all set to do a day after […]
Thanks for all the comments! I love seeing all the support and excitement; Adam and Kelsey, you guys have great friends! :0)

Great pics!!!
I’m a friend of Kelsey’s, and these pictures turned out SO well! I was so sad to hear they’d have to take their pictures in the rain, but they turned out beautiful — I think the rain was the perfect addition to her parents’ lovely home. Fantastic!
(The second and last ones are my top two favorites. :) )
