Toes in the Sand

I got my toes in the water, toes in the sand

Not a worry in the world, a cold drink in my hand

Life is good today, life is good today ;0)

c1psdWell this is going to be my view for the next week! My family is enjoying our first family vacation that is not work related in 8 years in the lovely Cayman Islands! My grandparents and Jeff’s mom are with us and everything is so beautiful, well, except for the BIGGEST iguanas I’ve ever seen in my life running around everywhere.. I’m convinced they’re gonna run right into me and give me a heart attack! They’re so scary! We’ve got a full week planned of sitting on the beach drinking smoothies.. and I think we just might find some time to go make friends with some dolphins and go horse back riding on the beach.. like I said, life is good today :0)

We’ve got two golf carts to drive around the property to and from the beach, and thats about all the driving I will be doing since they drive on the other side of the road here! I’m so directionally challenged to begin with, much less when the oncoming traffic appears to be in my lane! eek! I think I’ll stick to the golf carts thankyouverymuch.. although i maaaaay or may not have driven my grandma in the passenger seat into a bush on the way back to the villa last night.. and it maaaay or may not have been the funniest thing thats happened so far this trip.. ;0) I’ll keep you updated!

I still have internet access and am trying to check my email at least once a day, so if it takes me a little bit longer to get back to you this week please forgive me! I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!

Enjoy your weekend!

That’s so funny about the golf cart and the bushes! I went to the Caymans in 2001 with my mom and aunts and you guys have to take a boat ride to “Stingray City” and swim with the rays! So much fun!
    Enjoy your vacation!
