One of the most moving, informative, and emotional experiences I had last week at WPPI was definitely Jesh de Rox’s seminar he did on his new movement in this busy industry called “Beloved”, an experiential approach to capturing the relationship that exists between two people. So much of this job focuses on the excitement of two people getting ready to officially start their life together, but this type of session looks past that years down the road and asks couples who have been married 1, 5, or 20 years to see each other as they did on the first date, and consequently fall in love all over again. Seeing the emotion and joy that Jesh captures in his images and the focus on celebrating marriage long after the wedding really struck something in me. He pointed out that couples spend $28 billion dollars each year on failed relationships, and that broke my heart. I want to help you celebrate your marriage and the fact that you put time, work, and an incredible amount of love into your relationship.
I’m so excited about the impact and the difference that Jesh is making in his clients lives and relationships, and I’m excited to start incorporating that into my little business as well. Hearing the testimonials and seeing the images he captured of these people in love literally brought me to tears. He said something that will forever stick with me, “you will never create anything more beautiful than they already are…” My goal in coming into these sessions is to capture you as you are; to invite you to recall memories, looks, and touches that made you fall in love with this person you’ve chosen to walk through life with.
So to all of my past, present, and future brides and grooms- to encourage you to celebrate that first anniversary, your first “Beloved” session is 50% off, and each year after that the session will be 25% off the regular cost. I want to be seeing you and celebrating your marriage for years and years to come! This type of session is not just for couples that have had me photograph their wedding, its available to any husband and wife! So please don’t hesitate to contact me for more information and pricing for this type of session!
Last year I had the opportunity to visit one of my favorite couples Kelsey and Adam at their new home and document some of the little moments about their first year of marriage that they never wanted to forget. “Beloved” sessions will capture those moments, but also go so far beyond that.. I can’t wait!
