It was her contagious smile and hug that greeted me when I first walked into the room that set the tone for the entire day. Lauren had butterflies in her belly like every bride, but they couldn’t even compare to her excitement and joy as she slipped into her dress and fitted her veil. Her day was here, and she was going to soak up every second of it. Lauren and Matt built in plenty of extra time for everything throughout the day, so we were able to really take advantage of it and fit in tons of extra bridal portraits of Lauren, fun shots of the wedding party, and almost an hour for portraits just of the two of them! amazing! They were able to just enjoy their day spending it with family and friends and not worry about rushing from one thing to the next. Lauren and Matt, you really do bring out the best in each other and it was such an honor to be the one to document it! I couldn’t be happier for you both! :0)
I had so many favorites from this wedding that you get it in two parts! :0) Note to future brides, make sure you plan to get ready in a room with lots of windows! We were able to throw the windows to her hotel room wide open and let in all that pretty natural light for these next few pictures! I’ve noticed that it tends to really sink in the moment you get the dress on.. love this shot of Lauren soaking it all in :0) These next two are definitely my favorite portraits of Lauren I caught during the day: The gentlemen were looking quite handsome as well:
heading to the church! I loved that Lauren carried her “something old” with her down the aisle: It was quite an emotional few moments right before she walked down the aisle: such a sweet moment, and SUCH a proud daddy! the ceremony was SO beautiful; they had a little orchestra that played every so often during the ceremony and it was absolutely perfect!
here’s a little preview of whats coming your way next: Stay tuned for part 2!! :0)
LOVE the shoes! I have an eye for great shoes! lol
