Meet Elise- Richmond VA Newborn Photographer

Scheduling newborn sessions is always tricky because you never know when the baby is actually going to decide to make its big appearance! We typically try to pick a tentative date based on the due date when the baby is 1-2 weeks old, but I always assume that it will end up changing in the end. Well not with sweet Elise, she was right on time! You can tell Carrie and Mike are completely smitten with their baby girl, and she already has them wrapped around her little finger. They cranked the heat before the session so Elise had no trouble settling down in all the crazy places we put her. Sometimes I think parents must think I’m crazy when I suggest sticking their baby on a book shelf or side table, but I’m so thankful that they trust me and I always love the result!! :0)

Meet Elise: Carrie’s only request was this shot like I got of Natalie last year and I was more than happy to oblige: gotta love those little toes! she’s absolutely perfect: I loooved how Carrie decorated her nursery so I had to show it off! definitely a favorite :0) Thanks for sharing your sweet girl with me for the afternoon! :0)
