I’m convinced my couples are tougher than most. They agree to go outside for their pictures even if its freezing cold, ridiculously hot and humid, and sometimes as was the case with James and Gabi, they continue to walk around with smiles on their faces in the rain (AND the heat!) One of my favorite things about James and Gabi is that they just laughed together from the moment we started until the moment the session ended, even despite the fact that they were getting rained on half the time. You can tell that they are such an easy going couple, just content to be together and not letting the little things bother them, and that told me right away that they were a couple I was excited to get to know and photograph! It is so clear that their relationship is based on a sweet friendship first and foremost, and I could not be more excited to be a part of their wedding next month! Its going to be QUITE the party, I can tell :0) Gabi and James, thank you THANK YOU for sticking with me even in the rain and making my job so easy! I can’t wait to see you both again next month! :0)

When we first started talking about locations Gabi wanted something beachy and James wanted something a little more natural with lots of trees, so I knew Yorktown would be the perfect spot and the best of both worlds! How cool is this old tree!? i could have stayed in this one spot for the entire session! :0) love these next two.. that one on the left is a favorite for sure!
love love LOVE!the main reason I included this one (other than to show once again how gorgeous Gabi is!) is because you can see the rain! these guys are such troopers for still walking around with me even when its raining!! then the rain started REALLY coming down, so we decided to wait it out for a few minutes and i’m so glad we did because the sun came back along with a pretty incredible double rainbow! so with a quick change of outfit, we kept going for part 2 on the beach! one of my favorites :0) I LOVE how much these two laugh together! LOVE the light right after it rains!! Happy Thursday!
