Remember this sweet little man from his newborn session back in September?! He stole my heart the moment I walked in the door, and I’ve been so excited for his next session since then! This was the first official session I’ve been able to shoot 100% in my home and I LOVED being able to set up my extra bedrooms as a little studio space for their session… one of the perks of having lots of big windows in my home :) Megan and Matt came prepared with so many great ideas and I’m always so thankful when my clients go the extra mile to make their session great and really personalize it! I know every photographer thinks this is true, but I swear I really DO have the greatest clients in the world! It was great to be able to catch up with their family, and even get to snuggle Jackson for a few minutes at the end :) Can’t believe next time I see you guys I will probably be chasing him around to get photos! :) Can’t wait to see you all again soon!
Look at those sweet little puckered lips!
apparently when you’re 5 months old, your toes are the greatest thing in your world :) sweet smiles! love the backdrop that Megan made for their session and the fun pop of color it adds! AH! I’m obsessed with these next few! Megan and Jackson have a few special songs, and she wrote out the lyrics to one of their favorites, The Boat Song by JJ Heller on a big canvas that we could use as a backdrop and I couldn’t love these photos any more! I had this song playing while I edited their photos and it may or may not have made me teary thinking of Megan and Jackson one day dancing to this song together at his wedding. What can I say, I’m a sucker for those mother/son, father/daughter dances at weddings anyway :) but oh gosh this next photo makes me so very happy:sweetest little valentine! love it when little ones will see their reflection in my camera and reach out for it :)ha! tell me how ya really feel, Jackson :) Jackson had been a party animal the night before their session and didn’t sleep very well, so by the end of the session he was ready for a NAP! being a baby model is hard work! :)
Happy Wednesday! :)
