I have been going back and forth for over a year now trying to come up with a fun little something that I could send to my portrait clients after their session! I want all of my clients to know that I truly value them as customers, and that I’m aware that they had a very wide range of photographers to pick from! I try and always send a personal thank you note after their session, but I wanted to include a little something else too! Who doesn’t love getting a little surprise gift every now and then?! :) A friend and talented photographer Rebekah Hoyt posted an instagram photo of the most adorable “Thank You” cookie decorated in all of Rebekah’s business branding that had been given to her by one of her past brides, and I knew that was it!
I immediately contacted Casey with Cakes by Casey, and she truly made this vision of mine come to life in the most beautiful way! She was SO sweet and wonderful to work with right from the first email, and I’m really hoping that some of my brides will see this post and hire Casey to create something sweet for their wedding too! I knew I wanted to sign on with Casey right away, before I even saw or tasted anything, I trusted her to take care of my clients and she exceeded my expectations in every way! I’m so excited about how these cookies turned out, and you will just have to trust me when I say they were even more delicious than they look :)
So for all of my wonderful portrait clients, you can expect a little somethin’ sweet in the mail this year! I will be sharing my wedding client gift in another post, but for now here’s a little sneak peek of what Casey came up with! Make sure you check out her site and definitely get in touch with her if you need anything sweet for your next party, birthday, or event! :) Happy Friday!
You are so talented!! These cookies are so impressive under your camera lens. I can’t wait to see you in a few weeks for order number two…what a treat it’ll be to get to know you throughout this process!
I love this idea! I’ve been tossing around ideas of gifts for upcoming clients as well and this is a great (and tasty!) way to say thank you while also supporting small business folks in my community by buying local goods! Love it!
