“and the ocean taught her how to drown in all things bigger than herself. the ocean loved her and knew everything that made her. and every time she’d walk to the shore, she’d smile at the ocean because the waves told her story.” – R.M. DrakeThis sweet Shelby girl has more personality packed into her little body than anyone else I know :) She climbed up in this little nook and promptly decided to strike a pose for the camera, as seen in that image on the left ;)
one of my favorites:this girl is completely her mama’s child, she would have stayed right here splashing in the water all day if she could have had her way:don’t get me wrong I love a good sunset for photos, but sometimes an overcast morning is just as magical:
I think this is their “we’re SO excited to be in Charleston!!” faces… or something along those lines ;) oooh the curls, they melt me every time! Harper’s little tongue sticking out just my be my favorite part of this next photo:so many times over the few days I was there Harper would reach out for Shelby like she just needed a hug from her big sister: I’m so thankful when clients/friends value both photos and places enough to combine the two and allow me to take their family portraits in places that mean so much to them. Stay tuned for part 2 of their Charleston portrait session tomorrow :) You can also go back and see their last family portrait session HERE! :) Happy Monday!
