and your eyes look like coming home
all i know since yesterday
is everything has changed.”

Katie wore her mom’s veil, and it looked absolutely stunning and complimented her bridal gown in the most perfect way:Katie was jumping for joy. LITERALLY jumping for joy! She was absolutely glowing!
One of my dear friends and talented photographer Katie (not to be confused with this sweet BRIDE Katie!) agreed to 2nd shoot for me for the day, and I LOVE this shot she grabbed during their first look! here’s my angle:and this was Katie’s view!we lucked out with a beautiful windy day for their wedding, and i looove how you can see her dress blowing in the breeze here :)these next two are both Katie’s photos!these guys were all kinds of fun!love these ladies!right before we finished their wedding party portraits the guys said, “wait! we have one more picture to take!” aaaand then the photo on the left happened ;)
LOVE this sweet shot of Katie and her dad right before he walked her down the aisle :)
I mean c’mon, have you ever seen a happier guy?! He couldn’t have been smiling any bigger!one of my favorite images from their day :) Brad and Katie were married in the most adorable little church, and I’m so glad we budgeted time to do some extra portraits in front of the church! thanks to Katie for this next image :)they have a comfortable, easy kind of love. at one point Katie said to me “I feel like we’ve been married for years and years, now it’s just official!” :)they make me happy :)we snuck back into the church for a few extra portraits, and these ended up being my absolute favorite from their day! I love the simple southern charm, the big windows, and the old white pews, but not as much as I love this sweet couple!Katie, you are the most stunning bride!LOVE this one!!then we headed out to the reception at the Barns at Wolf Trap! How cute are their table numbers?! They had photos of them at each specific age that coordinated with that table number! too cute! they had the BEST dance party from start to finish! the dance floor was packed all night long!Brad and Katie had the Rollex Band play for their reception and they were SO great!! These guys kept the dance floor packed ALL night long and added such a fun vibe to their reception! thank you both for making us feel like family for the day, for letting us jump for joy right along with you, and for trusting us to tell your story. it was an honor to say the very least!
