one of the first things i tell new clients is how much i absolutely LOVE what i get to do every day. i get to be with people during some of the happiest, most exciting moments of their lives, and I don’t think it gets any better than that. the other week getting to document ben proposing to cara was no exception, and such an incredible honor to be asked to be a small part of something so special! ben planned the sweetest proposal, and it went off perfectly! he took cara back to the washington momument, the same place they went on one of their very first dates!
oh and by the way… she said YES! :)
and then he pointed out the camera, and that shot on the right is one of my favorites :) 
and THEN she saw her soon to be sister-in-law (who helped coordinate the whole thing!) and her jaw dropped! :) Ben said this is his favorite photo from the evening!
but THIS photo is one of my favorites :) i love how she looked down and caught a glimpse of the incredible new ring on her finger and was blown away once again!
and we managed to sneak in a few quick portraits before heading out to their dinner reservation! look at that ring on her finger! whew!
