this handsome little man just celebrated his very first birthday, and completely rocked his first birthday portrait session! :)
kristen explained how brecken is typically a very serious little man and really makes them work for a smile. could have fooled me, since he was in a great smiley mood for the session! i do love this portrait of him though, that shows the more “serious” side :)

they explained that adam spent quite a bit of time on a skateboard when he was in high school, and they have a darling photo of brecken as a newborn on this same board, so we took an updated version for them during their session!
love his sweet little smirk :)
and we ended the session with a little bit of SUGAR! :)
