“she smiles and he makes a joke about her freckles
and for miles they drive, singing love songs all the way
feet up on the dashboard
leaving footprints on the glass
it’s just another day in love.”
– tj mccloud
david and danielle are the definition of what it means to love intentionally. even as we talked through all the details of their day, it seemed that they had truly thought through every tiny piece but specifically how each piece could honor someone else. the colors of their wedding, their vows, the music, the jewelry, the glasses, the cake topper, the wedding party… truly every TINY piece was meaningful. there was nothing chosen just because it was what you were “supposed” to do, or because it pretty or convenient, it was all intentional. they were there to celebrate their relationship, yes, but to make sure that all of their favorite people knew just how loved and cherished THEY were to dave and danielle. they’re pretty incredible, just so ya know :)they each had small notebooks with their vows written in them, one of danielle’s promises being to raise their children in a home full of music and home cooked meals. did i mention that he’s a musician and she’s a chef? :) love love love. the bridal suite at shadow creek is completely swoon worthy! this is bobby, dave’s oldest friend and co-best man :)danielle had written each of her bridesmaids a thoughtful, handwritten letter that had each of them in tears!how adorable are these two boys?! he made quite an entrance! :)they had a completely beautiful day! it was about 75 degrees and sunny! no heat, no humidity, and crazy beautiful skies all day!so. much. joy!!!so we snuck out during the reception for these sunset photos and the sky was incredibly gorgeous, as the sun had just set and so we got that last little bit of warm glow!but THEN! we all went back in for a quick dinner, and noticed the sky had turned PINK! like, on fire, bright pink! dave and danielle had specifically requested a silhouette photo which we had taken earlier, but THIS one ended up 10x better! guys, this needs to be a huge canvas in your house! my favorite favorite! danielle’s sister had snuck a little surprise in david’s jacket pocket before the day started, a packet of grey poupon mustard!like i mentioned, david is a musician so i knew whoever they selected as their wedding band would be the best of the best. and i was completely right! they had seth walker play all night long, and everyone was completely blown away. dave said at the beginning of the day that seth walker’s voice was his all time favorite, and i totally understand why! go check him out! one of the best moments of the day was when dave got up to jam with him for a song!
you guys. i can’t even handle those little chunky thighs!and as always, my two favorite photos of the day :) thank you thank you thank you for letting sarah and i be a small part of your day! we adore you both!
