shadow_creek_wedding_photographer_gillispie01 shadow creek has become a second home these days, and i couldn’t be happier about that! it’s my most favorite venue to work at, and everyone always ha the best experience working with the incredible owners and staff there! i was so excited for nathan and sarah’s wedding at shadow creek, from the moment sarah explained her “rustic elegance” vision for the day i knew they had found the most perfect venue. they pieced together my dream team of vendors for their day, and it was flawless from start to finish! the only thing that would have made the day better would have been a surprise appearance from their sweet pup sadie, who you will remember from their engagement session! :) as always, enjoy way too many favorite images! shadow_creek_wedding_photographer_gillispie05 i loved their invitation suite! one of my new favorite detail photos!this ring next to sarah’s was the first ring her grandfather ever gave her grandma:there just might be as many photos of sarah’s sweet grandfather in this blog post as the bride and groom! you all know i have a soft spot in my heart for the grandpas out there :) and the whole room got teary when he came in and saw sarah for the first time! shadow_creek_wedding_photographer_gillispie77 how GORGEOUS are these florals?! thea cox completely outdid herself with the flowers! and WHEW that photo of sarah on the left is one of my favorites! you are the most gorgeous bride, my sweet friend!! these guys were looking quite dapper!i seriously couldn’t get enough of all the different floral arrangements! so beautiful! shadow_creek_wedding_photographer_gillispie602 one of their guests came up to me when i was taking these next photos and said “… but why is the cake NAKED?!” ;) the lovely and talented leah letters outdid herself with all of the different signs and seating chart! make sure to check out her site! shadow_creek_wedding_photographer_gillispie624 i mean seriously, how adorable is he with his little camera?! even the cows showed up for sunset photos! :)best. desert. ever. love love love!
