i spent a few days in nashville this past week getting to know this handsome little man :) getting to be his ‘aunt jessie’ is one of the best things ever! he’s got the sweetest demeanor, and his big sister kate already thinks he’s pretty awesome :) look at that smile!
kate had a cold the first week ryker was home, so this was one of the first days where she was really feeling great and able to get a bit more up close and personal with her new baby brother. she warmed right up to him!
these two spend QUITE a bit of time (especially at night!) snuggling in this chair, so i wanted to make sure we captured that for them too:
they’ve got a similar photo from kate’s newborn session on display in their bedroom, and requested one just like it for ryker!
ryker’s expression on the left, and kate’s hand on top of his head on the right… the best :)
someone was sleeping quite peacefully until his big sister crawled up next to him ;) i think i’d have the same reaction if someone stuck their finger in my ear while i was sleeping!
