fall weddings don’t get any better than this! perfect day. incredible fall weather. a keepsake wedding dress. a head-over-heels-in-love couple. and lots of incredible friends and family to celebrate with them! we had the best time with matt and hilary all day at irvine estate in lexington va, it was the most stunning backdrop for their day! i could tell exactly why they fell in love with this spot, the view is incredible! there’s nothing better than fall in virginia :) congratulations to the new mr. & mrs. cronin!
hilary explained that it has always been her dream to wear her grandmothers wedding gown. her grandmother wore it in 1954, then her mother wore it in 1982, and when it was finally her turn it suited her SO perfectly! how incredible is this portrait that she has of her grandparents on their wedding day? such a precious keepsake! 
she had another super fun dress to change into for the reception! best of both worlds :)
she also had her grandmothers engagement ring that she wore during the ceremony too:
