“for all the things my hands have held
the best by far is you.”

oh friends, i’ve got a good one for you today! nick and claire had the most perfect fall wedding day at the stunning meridian house in dc this past saturday. we’re finally getting into the “peak” of fall here in virginia, so the colors were stunning, the sun was shining, and everyone was SO full of joy! sarah and i LOVED working with this incredible group all day, they truly made us feel so welcome and we loved every minute of our time with them celebrating nick and claire! it was such a gorgeous classic DC wedding for the sweetest couple! happy viewing, friends! :)
claire had her grandmother’s bible, and her mother’s veil to wear for the day! cathedral length veils are my FAVORITE!these gentlemen were looking sharp! i loved the polka dots inside nick’s jacket!i seriously could have shared about 50 of claire’s bridal portraits in this blog post. claire, you are the most gorgeous bride! because we were able to get ALL of their portraits done before the ceremony, everyone got to mingle and enjoy cocktail hour! which just means more photos with all of their favorite people :) there really is nothing like a live band at a wedding reception! these guys ROCKED all night long, the dance floor was constantly packed and they sounded amazing. i’d highly recommend nightsong if you’re looking for a band!instead of cake, they passed around the most delicious ice cream sandwiches for their guests! my favorite! :)congratulations again!! xo!
