this is the kind of session that fills my spirit and makes me fall in love with what i get to do. i spent two hours in their home photographing all those little things that make up their favorite moments. books, babies, blocks, remote control cars, dance parties, snuggles, tea parties, story time, and plenty of imagination. we didn’t stage anything, we didn’t force smiles, and to me the result is pure magic. these are most definitely my favorite kind of sessions! the last time i had this sweet family in front of my camera was summer 2016 for violets first birthday as part of the baby’s first year package, and you’re not going to believe how much they’ve grown since then! :) enjoy so many favorites!

violet had her whole class all lined up for story time, sitting criss cross applesauce and everything! :)
