“I don’t get many things right the first time
in fact, I am told that a lot
now I know all the wrong turns, the stumbles and falls
brought me here…
and I know… that I am the luckiest.”
– Ben Folds
this was just one of those days where all of the right pieces were so perfectly in place. stunning backdrop, wonderful people, and a couple so calm, content, and sure about the promises they were making that the whole day was a dream. it rained just about all day, but you’d never know it based on their incredible attitudes and willingness to celebrate their day no matter what. I’m so so so thankful for couples like that, who know the true importance of the day and choose joy and thankfulness, because the promises and commitments they are making are so. worth. celebrating. Ashley and Kevin, thanks so much for making us a part of your day, and I hope you’re having the BEST time on your honeymoon!
as always, Kelley with Event Studio completely outdid herself with the flowers!
so many adorable baby cows at shadow creek!
walking in and seeing a cathedral length veil is the FASTEST way to completely make my day! they always make bridal portraits extra dreamy :)
how stunning is this?! I’m so glad we snuck in a few portraits with it before it was ultimately moved inside for the ceremony!
when I told this crew “you’ve gotta really commit!” to this next photo, they did not disappoint!
