You always envision it being the “perfect” day, one that is flawless from start to finish. Its supposed to be the happiest day of your life, right? Well what happens when things don’t quite go as planned? Here in Northern Virginia we had a HUGE storm blow through last Friday night before Mike and Andrea’s wedding and to say it left its mark is an understatement. Some people in this area are still without power now a week later. The morning of the wedding we got a call that the church didn’t have power; read: no air conditioning. add to that 100+ degree weather and Mike and Andrea had every right to go into panic mode…. and yet the smile never left their faces. Because for them it wasn’t about the power. or the AC. it was about marrying their best friend, which was going to happen one way or another! They had incredible attitudes, and I think its safe to say that even though it might not have been flawless, it was still the greatest day of their lives. Mike and Andrea, thank you so much for braving the heat and for letting me hang out with you guys for the day :) Have a fabulous time on your honeymoon!! :)
