Ava and Alexa- Leesburg, VA

Back in January when I kept Lauren and Sam for the weekend, we went over to the mall for the afternoon since it was too cold to be outside and Lauren (as always) immediately found a friend to play with. Lauren and Ava ran around the entire time and her parents and I struck up conversation about the kids and how quickly they became buddies! Beth was expecting a baby in a couple months, another little girl! When it was time to go, I gave Beth one of my business cards and told her to give me a call if she was interested in pictures when the baby came. I didn’t think too much of it, until about a month later when I got an email from Beth: “I’m not sure if you remember me, our daughters were playing together at the mall.. ” I’m so used to people thinking Lauren and Sam are mine that I don’t think anything of it anymore, but I emailed her back and told her I was so excited to come take pictures of the new baby, but that my daughter would not be joining me ;0) 

When I walked in the door it took Ava approximately a minute and a half to remember and warm up to me, and she was SO much fun to photograph! She was one of the most well behaved two year olds I’ve ever met, and was such a little movie star in front of the camera :0) She could not get enough of her new baby sister, Alexa Catherine; always wanting to hold her and kiss her and tickle her feet :0) Lexi was just 12 days old and couldn’t have been better either! She was wide awake for the first part of the session, then let me get some super cute sleepy baby pictures at the end. I have so many favorites from my time with them, I think this could be the longest blog post I’ve ever done with about 25 images blogged and a slideshow of almost 80! What can I say they were just too cute :0) Beth and Eric, thank you so much for inviting me into your home and sharing your beautiful girls with  me for the morning!

Meet Alexa Catherine :0)C’mon how cute is she?! :0) Oh I’m such a sucker for daddy/daughter moments :0) And these are definitely my new favorites! SO sweet!! Lots of kisses for Daddy! I love these ones with Mommy too!We jumped outside just for a few minutes- look at her beautiful Easter dress! After all that hard work smiling for the camera all morning long it was time for some sleepy baby pictures of miss alexa :0) I have SO many favorites of Alexa, I really love this one though! Check out how sweet her room is! Definitely another favorite! The signature Baby Love picture :0) Love those little scrunchy lips!
