When I think of all the many, MANY things I absolutely love about my job, one thing that definitely sticks out are the relationships I form. I love that the couples I get to work with are more than just “clients”, the best thing in the world is when a bride becomes a friend. Donna is such a great representation of that. The first time I met Donna she came over to my apartment and we literally sat and talked like old friends for almost two hours. We chatted about her family, all the hundreds of reasons why she adored Bryan, what colors she should pick for her reception decor, ya know, all the things good friends would chat about :0) I was SO excited to see Donna again this past weekend and to finally meet Bryan. I’m going to go ahead and call this my first ‘destination wedding’, just because, well, I’m dying to start doing destination weddings! :0) It was down in Wilmington NC which was a perfect excuse for everyone to make a weekend out of it and spend some time at the beach! Everything came together so beautifully for Donna and Bryan; they balance each other perfectly and I loved watching them interact all day long.
Thank you so much for your friendship and allowing me to be part of your day.. and I’m totally serious about coming to visit me in VA sometime! I’m fully prepared to convince ya’ll to move here next ;0)
