Yesterday I went to a wedding, and for the first time in a very, VERY long time I focused on the vows the bride and groom made, I wore heels (something I never do at weddings!), I danced at the reception with some of my very best friends, and even enjoyed a cheesecake cupcake. Okay, okay, so I usually manage to sample the cake at most weddings, but the heels were a first! Thats right, I went to a wedding as a guest to celebrate my friends John and Megan and their new marriage and I loved every minute of it. I knew I couldn’t leave my camera at home, but I was determined to not take pictures the entire time, so here are just a few of John and Megan, and a few of some of my favorite people to show all you wonderful people on the internet that I do in fact have a life outside of my camera ;0)
Megan’s brother gave her away :0)First dance: I love seeing my friends so happy! Two of my favorite people… Out of the hundreds of pictures I’ve taken of their family I think this is the first one of just the two of them without Jacob or Anela.. they clean up pretty nice, huh? ;0) Look who came back to see me from Colorado!! Okay, so maaaaybe the fact that it was her brother’s wedding had a little something to do with it ;0) Okay this just might be my favorite picture from the day… Justin, Kathleen, Josh, and I started YoungLife at Warwick High School about four years ago and this was the first time we’ve all been in the same place in over two years. So, of course, a picture was definitely necessary! Congratulations John and Megan! Thanks for letting me come celebrate with you both! I can’t wait to see all the things the Lord is going to accomplish through your marriage!
love, jessie
love the one of them by the water!!
