Nick and Virginia Part II- Reston, VA

Are you ready for TONS of fun wedding pictures from this weekend?!? First up is Nick and Virginia! They had a beautiful wedding this past Saturday despite the rain that tagged along literally all day long. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a groom as excited to meet his bride at the end of the aisle as Nick; I went up to take pictures of the guys and they were having a blast playing pool and hanging out by the bar before the ceremony. It was pretty much the ultimate set up for the guys :0) Virginia was calm and collected and looked absolutely beautiful in the dress that her mother made for her. Yes, you read that right, her mother MADE Virginia’s wedding dress and all of her bridesmaids dresses!! I was so impressed, you will have to check back in a few days for Virginia’s bridal portraits we did back in August! Congratulations to you both, have a great time in Napa!! :0) 

I was also so impressed that Virginia managed to walk gracefully all day in these! (lord knows I have NO ability to walk in heels, much less ones this high!) Arent they fun?! Nick gave Virginia her ‘something blue’ before the wedding :0) Love this shot of all the girls getting ready; the room was all mirrors which made staying out of the images a little tricky, but I do love how this one turned out! Like I said, Nick was pretty excited ;0) The ring bearer, however, was not so excited to have to walk down the aisle! Jill was able to come 2nd shoot with me, and I think this shot that she got of him is so cute! Jill also managed to grab this shot right before the girls walked down the aisle! He was cracking me up during the ceremony, he was taking pictures of everyone! Like I said, unfortunately it rained all day long, but thankfully the hotel had so many fun spots to shoot!
