Meet Charlotte Grace – Richmond VA Newborn Photographer

Remember Shaun and Leigh from their maternity session a month ago? Well now meet the newest 7 lb 7 oz addition to their family, miss Charlotte Grace! She’s absolutely perfect and already such a cuddle bug.. so much in fact that Leigh and Shaun have a hard time putting her down! They were worried she would be a little “feisty” when we tried to lay her down for a picture, but I can honestly say that Charlotte’s was one of the easiest newborn sessions I’ve ever photographed! She slept almost the entire time! and hey, who can blame the girl for wanting to be held? :0) I hope she stays a cuddle bug for a long, LONG time :0) i’m pretty sure Shaun and Leigh are going to start letting Charlotte sleep on her dresser from now on since she did so well there :0) I think it may have had some to do with the warm fluffy blanket.. but who knows :0) Moments like this are why you always just keep shooting during a family session.. this was simply a transition moment; Leigh handing Charlotte to Shaun, and it ended up being one of my absolute favorites :0) This is definitely Charlotte’s favorite spot.. I’m thinkin’ Leigh doesn’t mind it so much either :0) still amazes me how they can scrunch up like that.. look at her little legs! I promise she did fit in this little basket.. she was just super wiggly :0) I can tell Leigh had so much fun decorating Charlotte’s room :0) its adorable! Something that I always notice when I’m photographing newborns are just how TINY their fingers are, especially next to mom or dads: Enjoy this time with Charlotte! We’ll have to schedule another session soon since I didn’t get to hold her last time ;0) Happy Sunday!
