I knew it was only a matter of time. My brother and step-dad have been talking about getting a puppy for months. Over 8 years ago my mom showed up one day at the house with the puppy she fell in love with at the pet store and couldn’t leave behind. So I knew even if she wasn’t totally on board with getting a new puppy that she didn’t really stand a chance. She really loves dogs, and all they had to do was say “well yoooooou just showed up with Molly…” They gave her the whole spiel.. i’ll walk her.. i’ll feed her.. i’ll clean up after her… it was only a matter of time.
SO, all that being said.. meet the newest addition to my family: Britta! She’s an 8 month old Brittany Spaniel who they adopted about a week ago. They’re still trying to train her, mainly to not chew everything to pieces and not jump on their bed.. but overall she’s a pretty sweet pup. Don’t let these sad puppy eyes fool you though, this scrawny thing can run in circles around all of us… the fluffy toys don’t stand a chance. there are chewed up pieces of dog toys everywhere. and i do mean every. where. she’s a little intense with the tug-and-pull, but if you tickle her nose she’ll let go :0) and as for Molly? she tolerates Britta’s hyper active-ness quite well, and is just happy when she can manage to get more than a 5 minute uninterrupted nap :0)
Britta is adorable-congratulations on your newest addition.
AWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love her! i want to hug her and play with her!
awww they’re adorable! Great shots. Enjoy the cutie’s!
Looks like I’m gonna have a blast! Thanks for sharing the nose-tickling trick
