Andrew and Ali are expecting! – Norfolk VA Maternity Photographer

It’s not uncommon for me to have to reschedule sessions. Since I want to give every client what they see on my website, beautiful natural light images, if it looks like rain I’ll go ahead and reschedule instead of trying to find some place inside that I know neither of us is going to be as happy with. We weren’t more than 10 minutes into Andrew and Ali’s session when another crazy summer storm rolled through. We knew it would probably blow through in 30 minutes or so, but I also knew that every inch of the gardens where they wanted to do the session would be soaked and we would be way more limited with what we could do with their session. We agreed to reschedule for a few days later, and wouldn’t you know that the radar wasn’t looking too great for the reschedule date either. SO, once again, we went with plan B. Or are we on plan C by now? Either way, it didn’t happen once again. Once Ali told me that they never got to do engagement pictures before they were married because they kept getting rained out I was determined to make the next time work, even if we had to meet up for an early morning session to avoid the chance of evening storms. Well thankfully somebody up there heard my plea for a sunny evening for Ali and Andrew! Can’t wait to meet your baby girl in just a few weeks! :0) img_7235img_7236img_7237img_7238img_7300img_7395img_7425img_7433img_7544i think these next two are my favorites :0) loved that tree behind them! and the baby’s  nursery is purple and green! perfect! :0) img_7583img_7599img_7638see, pictures like this just wouldn’t have happened if everything was soaked! :0) img_7722img_7759img_7804img_7847img_7853img_7923img_7985img_8034

i really love the one where her hair is blowing in the wind.

  2. Yeah, a similar thing happened to me for two engagment sessions-it rained and then was extremely hot for the one, and it rained every week for the other. lol But it always works out!
