so, overwhelmed sums it up pretty well. the to-do list just keeps growing as the appliances keep breaking.. aaah the joys of being a homeowner :0) i’m adapting to little changes that come with this new place; new traffic patterns and roads to avoid, new side of the bed, new furniture (most of which has not arrive yet.. hence the lack of pictures!), new community.. if you know me at all you know how resistant to change I can be. so while I’m thrilled to be here and be IN the house, which was an obstacle itself, i’m working on adapting. I’m trying to get back into a regular work pattern like I had in newport news, but it seems every day there have been people in and out coming to fix things, deliver things, or show me how to work this house that is loaded with gadgets, buttons, and remotes that I have NO idea how to use! One of these days the house will be somewhat organized and life will fall into this new “normal”… but not today! ;0)
Thanks for being patient with me this past week, I think thats the longest I’ve gone with no new blog posts in a LONG time, but here’s a little preview of what’s coming your way this week! Connor’s newborn session: Eric and Laura’s wedding at the fabulous Hotel Monaco in Alexandria: and Brandon and Megan’s engagement session at Stribling Orchard :0) I can’t WAIT to share all of these with you, but hopefully this will hold you over for now :0)
I am sure your house is going to be beautiful when you are done! now that you are closer I would love to get together for that hot cocoa:) Let me know if you would like to once you are settled in!
Yay, I’m so glad you blogged, I’ve missed your post!!! Can’t wait to see the pictures of these sessions and of your new home…Congrats!!!
