October is definitely my busiest time of year, especially for weddings! and understandably so, the weather is always GORGEOUS this time of year, the temperature cools down just a little bit, and the leaves are amazing and always remind me what an artist my God is. Michelle and Nic were able to take full advantage of one of these kind of days at the gorgeous Williamsburg Winery. Surrounded by only their dearest friends and family, it was such an honor to watch these two people join their families together. I loved how much they involved Nic’s 9 year old daughter, truly making the day about uniting this whole family. They recognized her during the ceremony, had her light the unity candle with them, and Nic even got to dance with her while Michelle danced with her dad during the father/daughter dance! You can tell how smitten Nic is with his two girls, and what a great husband and father he is! Thank you so much for letting me document your day! Congratulations to you both! :0)
Michelle’s dress took a little extra umph to make sure it was laced up just right ;0) They opted for a first look, which is NEVER a bad idea, and I loved seeing the excitement on their faces as they saw each other for the first time and the sweet embrace that followed: it gave us PLENTY of time to do all their portraits before the ceremony even started, so that right when it ended they were able to join the reception and get the party started! :0) definitely a favorite from the day: husband&wife!the winery had so many fun little details for me to shoot! i dont know about you, but that looks about perfect to me: cheese, crackers, fruit, and a pretty old fireplace.. sign me up! :0)
first dance sweetness: love this one from their first dance, and that you can see their parents in the background!
They even let us sneak down to the wine cellars for a few more portraits during the reception! another favorite: i loved that Nic got to dance with his daughter too during the father/daughter dance.. it will be her in a wedding dress before you know it!Michelle got that direct shot right up his nose! Michelle’s niece was attached to her the. entire. day! she wanted to be wherever michelle was, no matter what else might be going on ;0) Congratulations again! Enjoy your slideshow! :0)
