on repeat

Once every few weeks a song comes along and gets completely stuck. It’s the song that I hum in my head for a very long period of time, or at least until another song comes along. A song that gets stuck on repeat on itunes until i know it inside and out. I’m pretty sure I drove my parents about insane with that specific personality trait when I was younger; I’m fairly confident having disney songs play over and over and over and over would get old to anyone after the 8146th time, but hey I had to learn all the words somehow! ;0) Eventually I find a new song of the moment and move on, but for those first few days its likely that the song will replay in my head all day long, whether I sing along or not just depends on the crowd I’m around ;0)

I just saw the movie Country Strong the other day, and this song is officially stuck until further notice. Its simple, gorgeous, and has that a melody that sticks with you in an almost haunting way. Enjoy my current favorite song, and go see the movie if you get a chance! :0)
