It was one of those days that every couple deserves. The kind of day that is full of white puffy clouds and that perfect breeze blowing constantly. The kind of day with lots of laughter and so many happy tears. The kind of day that begins and ends with all of your favorite people. The kind of day that has been so well thought out, that everything flows effortlessly. The kind of day full of sweet toasts, crazy dance parties, and fun friends. Craig and Lauren’s wedding was held at their family’s gorgeous home in Clifton and from the moment Jill and I arrived to the moment we left everyone we came into contact with was all smiles and excitement… no stress, no worry, just joy. Lauren and Craig have the most incredible family and friends, and their love and support for this couple was tangible all day long. From the toasts to the congratulatory hugs that flooded them all day, I could tell right away that Craig and Lauren have an incredible support system around them. It was such an honor to spend the day with you all, and I couldn’t be happier for you two! Congratulations Craig and Lauren! :) and a big thank you to the lovely and talented Jillian Michelle Photography for tagging along for the day! Make sure you check out her blog HERE :)
Craig had surprised Lauren with rose petals and a special gift that was waiting for her when she arrived :)
lots of sparkle :) ah i love the moment when the dress goes on! its the moment when it all sinks in and it becomes REAL! :) meanwhile Jill headed downstairs to photograph the guys! thanks to Jill for these next two images: one of my favorite First Looks ever :) Can’t you tell how ecstatic Craig was to see his lovely bride?! :) love this shot that Jill took! :) He had the best reaction when he saw Lauren: two more of Jill’s.. how stunning is Lauren’s bouquet?! my favorites :) goodness gracious Lauren you are STUNNING! :) such a gorgeous group of ladies! :)like I mentioned, Craig and Lauren have the best family and friends… their wedding party was such a fun group! Jill did a great job photographing the guys while I hung out with the ladies: love the color combo Lauren and Craig chose: one of my favorite shots during the ceremony of Craig and his brother: Lauren’s mom met her at the bottom of the steps and walked her down the aisle.. love this shot of the two of the that Jill took: perfection: I completely adored this sweet lady who married Craig and Lauren! She baptized Lauren when she was a baby, so it was so special that she was able to perform her wedding ceremony too! married!! remember these two from their engagement session?! I was so excited when they made a quick appearance before the reception :) some fun reception details: one of my favorite photos of the day! I love this photo of Craig’s parents that Jill took during their first dance: Craig’s father and brother and Lauren’s mother and sister all gave incredible toasts.. this is one of my favorite photos of Craig from the day: I looked down the line and there were 5 all in a row wiping tears from their eyes: I’ve decided that its my new goal in life to become this couple one day… they’ve been married for 60 years (and 6 weeks!) and have spent their lives “doing ministry, supporting one another’s dreams, and making each other laugh”, according to the advice they gave Craig and Lauren. I love that they still look at each other and laugh like they were little kids. This photo makes me SO happy, I hope that one day I have a photo just like this with my husband of 60 years (and 6 weeks!) :) then we ended the evening with some fun sparkler magic! :)
Congratulations again! Happy Friday! :)

Jess and Jill….as the bride’s mom, I think you captured the day perfectly. Prior to the ceremony, ceremony and reception all have the most beautiful pictures. You truly captured Lauren’s inner beauty and you got great pics of Craig’s “happy face”. I love the pics on the patio of her jewelry and rose petals and the way it reflects in the glass table top..just lovely. The one picture of our pastors, Ed & Libby Wright is priceless and we all hope to be that happy after 60 years of marriage! Thanks again for giving Lauren and Craig many years of memories to come:)
So beautiful Jessie! That was such a FUN and gorgeous day! Congrats Lauren and Craig!!…and i want your dogs!!! AHH!
