I always tell my clients that on their wedding day there are a few moments that I will specifically direct, mostly when it comes to the formal group portrait time. However, my main role on their day is that of an observer. I like to catch things as they happen without interfering. I read between the lines, I catch moments that maybe no one else sees, and I listen. Over the course of their day the one thing I heard repeated MULTIPLE times was “I just love how HAPPY they look!” or “Its so great to see Brett so happy!” or “I’ve never seen Cathy happier than when she’s with Brett!” It was so clear and everyone there could see it: they were happy. Content. Joyful. and ready to be married. Cathy and Brett are just better together, and the whole world can see that. They were married this past Saturday and spent the evening celebrating with all of their favorite people at 1757 Golf Club in Sterling VA and I’m so thankful I got to be a small part of it! Hope you’re having the best time on your honeymoon! Happy viewing, friends! as soon as Brett saw Cathy he immediately commented on how gorgeous she looked and how her dress was so perfectly her :) Cathy’s one request was that we find some tall grass to take a few of their portraits in.. done and done! :)a favorite for sure :)love the stained glass in the church! married! these two had a PACKED dance floor all night long! A big thank you to their DJ Daniel Trencher for keeping the party flowing! ahh the first lesson in marital trust ;)
