“why do we have to grow up? i know more adults who have the children’s approach to life. they’re people who don’t give a hang what the Joneses do. You see them at disneyland every time you go there. they are not afraid to be delighted with simple pleasures, and they have a degree of contentment with what life has brought – sometimes it isn’t much, either.”
– walt disneysunshine, 75 degrees, some of my favorite ladies, disney magic, and butter beer ice cream… the perfect recipe for the PERFECT week :) this is a week i truly count down to every year. by february, all i want is warm weather and sunshine, and thankfully florida delivers every year :)
i think i could go to the wizarding world of harry potter every day and still be in awe of it. they thought of every tiny detail! and who doesn’t want to ride on the Hogwarts Express?!my sweet friend and roommate katie joined us for the week, and of course the first thing on our list was BUTTERBEER! :) and thank goodness Ingrid could join us for the day too! best birthday ever!these photos perfectly sum up their friendship… my favorite!that talking head was the real. deal. one of my favorite views :)and it’s even better at night!!i left my big camera at home most days (which is why the majority of these photos are from my iPhone) but i knew i wanted to scope out a good spot to get some fireworks photos over the castle and i’m so glad i did! that photo at the beginning of the post is my new favorite! i also loved this preshow they did on the castle before Wishes!i love that you can see Walt toward the bottom left of the castle :)the parks at night are just the best :)
then the next morning we headed back to Magic Kingdom and Nicole joined us for the day! shh, don’t tell Eva :)my super cute t-shirt is from happily ever tees and even the MK starbucks said “have the best day ever!” then it was onward to epcot for a little tour around the world, and we found a few fishy friends along the way:ohhh these two… they’ve got the moves like jagger…seriously these parks at night just blow me away…toy story mania.. my fav!!oh. my. gosh. this very accurately sums up how i felt about our 3 minute interaction with Kylo Ren at hollywood studios ;) and the look on my mom’s face sums up how SHE felt about it ;) i don’t think any of us knew quite what to do with him…in the words of tswift… he’s so bad, but he does it so well!and the last morning we snuck over to animal kingdom for just a couple hours, mostly to catch my favorite show there. the festival of the lion king is incredible!thanks to my mama, katie, ingrid, and nicole for helping to make it the best week ever! until next year, florida!! :)
