it was calling for rain. as in, 100% chance of rain. and all of my incredible couples seem to remain completely unphased by it. the entire sky could have come tumbling down, but as long as christian and keena were husband&wife by the end of the night, they could have cared less. i remember one of the first things they ever said to me was how much they loved photos of the ceremony, since that’s the most important reason they are there after all. and what a ceremony backdrop they had! weddings at bluemont vineyard are always to die for, even when they are accompanied by a little rain :) keena and christian, i hope you are having the time of your lives on your honeymoon and enjoying every relaxing moment! you both deserve it! xo!

this one cracks me up though… they were definitely on a mission, lets get this show on the road! “is it time to get married NOW?!?” i’m telling ya, they were BEYOND ready to officially be married! LETS GO!
you see all those dots on the image? as soon as she walked down the aisle… literally the moment she got to christian… it started raining. it had been perfect and even sunny for the whole hour before, and it stopped raining about halfway through the ceremony, but once they were in place NOTHING was going to phase them! 
reason #1 why they’re perfect for each other… they both got each other machetes for christmas, without having ANY idea the other one was doing the same thing. how hilarious is that?! so they brought some extra special tools to help cut the cake ;) 
another thing they were quick to mention was how much they loved the gazebo all lit up at night! done and done! :)
christian and keena said up front, “we are most definitely NOT dancers!” but we had a few brave souls out on the dance floor throughout the night :)
