“and we will tie ourselves together
with a spoken solemn vow
and we will fight for one another
til they lay us in the ground”
– wilder adkins
from the moment i received diana’s first email, i knew she and ryan were my kind of people. the kind that i was genuinely thrilled to work with and get to know. they had just gotten engaged, and she knew she wanted me to photograph their wedding, so they checked in with me to make sure i was available before they locked in their venue. it’s couples like them that leave me humbled and so very thankful for what i get to do every day. there was nowhere else i would have rather been than celebrating with them last saturday! i may or may not be already counting down until i get to hang out with them again :) hope you both are having an incredible honeymoon! xo!
i think this made us all teary… “Hi hon, this is a lace handkerchief I had made for you from my wedding dress in 1953. Grandpa & I have had 63 years of a great marriage and we wish you and Ryan many wonderful years together. We are so very happy for you. Love you honey, Grandma”
lookin’ so sharp, sir!
this spot looked like something out of a fairytale to me!

so we may have missed the sunset, but i’m SO very glad we snuck out during dinner for a few minutes! these ended up being some of my favorites from their day down by the marina!
