Matt and Alison- Historic Whitehall Estate Wedding Photographer

– tyler knott gregson historic_whitehall_manor_wedding_ragghianti01 with virginia weather, you truly never know what you’re going to get. because it’s been a much warmer fall so far, all of the gorgeous autumn colors and leaves decided to stick around just for matt and alison’s gorgeous wedding at whitehall estate! i’ve never seen whitehall look so lovely! it was a little chilly outside, but nothing could phase these two. one of the best parts of my job is having a front row seat to see amazing clients/friends like matt and alison truly enjoy the best day of their lives. they were both so joyful all day long! they had the sweetest friends surrounding them all day, and a pretty epic dance party during the reception :) matt & alison, thank you so much for letting sarah and i celebrate with you!! we loved every minute! historic_whitehall_manor_wedding_ragghianti04 their first look was one of my favorites yet!moments like these next three are why i LOVE when my couples do a first look! you just don’t get this kind of interaction at the end of the aisle!seriously i could not get over this line of perfectly yellow trees! i could have stayed right in this spot all day! historic_whitehall_manor_wedding_ragghianti131 any Anne of Green Gables fans out there? this spot reminded me of something straight out of Avonlea!for those of you wondering, YES I always do family portraits! i don’t usually include them in the blog post, but this is definitely an important piece to the wedding day! historic_whitehall_manor_wedding_ragghianti299 and of course, my favorite photos of the evening! :)you guys, this was a hilarious “first” for me! as we were grabbing this photo with matt and alison all of a sudden i hear a voice running up to me at top speed saying “I WANT A PHOTO WITH THE PHOTOGRAPHER!!” and i was, ahem, lovingly ambushed by this group of gentlemen ;) historic_whitehall_manor_wedding_ragghianti761 now that’s more like it! :)
