Brad and Alicia- Beaches Turks and Caicos Destination Wedding Photographer

“Should this be the last thing I see
I want you to know it’s enough for me
Cause all that you are is all that I’ll ever need
So in love”
– Ed Sheeran

Oh friends, I am so excited to share Brad and Alicia’s day with you! They’ve been counting down to this day for so many years, and after a few delays and rescheduled attempts they were finally able to put their toes in the sand and say “I do!” at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort! It was such a beautiful, special day to be a part of. This was my first visit to Turks and Caicos and hopefully it won’t be the last! The resort was so gorgeous, the water was as blue as it gets, and these smaller more intimate gatherings have become some of my absolute favorites to be a part of. Brad and Alicia, thank you thank you for trusting me with such a special occasion. It is the biggest honor to know your family and be your “photographer for life”. Congratulations to you both! Xo!

How stunning is Alicia?!  Her dress was absolutely perfect!

These photos Ally grabbed of Alicia and her brother right before he walked her down the aisle are some of my favorites from their day.

There’s a tradition in Turks and Caicos that’s considered good luck, “for the bride and groom to walk five steps, hand-in-hand into the Caribbean Sea immediately following the ceremony. Five steps into the salty waterscape is said to form a closer bond with your love as you move forward with each step (or year) of your union.” Success!

Thankfully, we planned to do a day after session with just Brad and Alicia to take full advantage of all the gorgeous backdrops around the resort! Alicia booked another hair and makeup appointment, they slipped their wedding attire back on, and I was in photographer heaven photographing these two all around the resort! There were even so many other locations I had scoped out to use that we ran out of time for! If anyone else is having a destination wedding in Turks and Caicos and you need a photographer, I’m your girl!! :)

You can’t get married in Turks and Caicos and not plan to have a little bit of fun in the water!! Alicia brought a second much lighter dress and we went for a little swim at the end of the session. Totally. Worth. It!

Some people call these “trash the dress” sessions, but as you can see, even soaking wet her dress wasn’t “trashed” at all! It might have an extra layer of sand in it, but that’s nothing a dry cleaner can’t help out with later :)

Congratulations again to you both! xo!

    Alicia,

What a gorgeous event! So glad to see all the photos after Ronni’s descriptions….she didn’t exaggerate. You looked especially beautiful. Brad , whom I hope to meet someday, looked really happy, handsome…….kind and sweet, too. Our prayers for many wonderful years together.❤️
