When people hear the concept of a “trash the dress” session they either have one of two reactions: love it or hate it. There are women that couldn’t imagine “trashing” their wedding dress, and then others who think “eh, i’m never going to wear it again.. why not!” There’s not a ton of middle ground with this type of session. Jennifer was all in, and I think just as excited about this session as Katelyn and I were (if thats possible!) She knew she wanted amazing pictures, and something out of the ordinary.. a photographer’s dream! :0) Definitely let me know if you’re interested in doing a “trash the dress” session, whether you’re getting married next month or celebrating your 5th wedding anniversary- its never too late to get creative! I’m so excited about these, and I’m SO thankful that Katelyn let me tag along with her for the weekend! I’m grateful for any opportunity that we have to work together! Make sure you check out her brand new BLOG to see more pictures from their wedding!
Another candid shot; we were waiting for Jason to change clothes and as I was getting used to walking in the water with my camera (juuuust a little scary!) I turned around to see her and Katelyn laughing about something.. another one of my favorite shots from the day :0) fearless :0) love it! another favorite for sure!Jennifer’s dress got SO heavy since it was soaking wet, but we managed to get at least the top layer to float a little bit for us :0) these next two are hands down my favorites from the weekend.. i can just see the canvas now!! :0)
