Oh man, you know its going to be good when you see “Part 1” in the title of the blog post! This past weekend I shot two gorgeous and completely perfect weddings, and they just so happened to be my last two of the year, so I thought they both deserved two posts :0) Jenny and Danny have been planning their October 29th wedding for a long time now, and I knew it was going to be one of my favorites to shoot as soon as I met with Jenny back in January! She was so excited to tell me all about Danny and their story, and her smile just seemed to get bigger and bigger the more she talked about him. To any other photographers out there, THAT is how you know they are a client you want to work with; when they are that happy just TALKING about the other person! So needless to say, I showed up so excited to finally get Jenny and Danny in front of my camera together! They had a perfect day from start to finish, and were SUCH a joy to be around! Jenny and Danny, thank you so much for letting me be a small part of your day! Hope you’re having a fabulous time in Hawaii! :0) Enjoy part 1 and make sure you check back for part 2 and their slideshow! :0)
Jenny got ready at Stevenson Ridge, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shoot! :0)
Jenny’s “something blue”:one of my new favorite ring shots! GORGEOUS florals! To all brides out there, i HIGHLY encourage you to find a room with a ton of natural light/big windows you can get ready in, the colors are SO much better!! The house Jenny got dressed in just so happened to have a huge sunroom on the back.. PERFECT! :0) isn’t she the most gorgeous bride?! one of my favorites from the whole day.. Jenny, you are STUNNING! ceremony time! love these next two shots of Danny as his bride walks towards him :0)
LOVE this next one:
married!!! :0) when you plan an October wedding, you accept rain as a possibility on your wedding day. but SNOW?! who would have ever thought that we would be dodging snow to get their portraits?! Thankfully Jenny and Danny are extra awesome and there just so happened to be a covered spot at the reception where they wouldn’t get soaked that we could do some pictures! I dont know that I’ve ever taken so many pictures in a 5 minute span, but you would never know from these next few pictures that it was raining/snowing at the same time :0) You guys are rockstars, thank you for braving the cold for a few minutes for your pictures! possibly my favorite from the whole day :0) Love that one on the left :0) and we were still able to get some of the gorgeous fall colors in the back! :0)
Make sure you check back tomorrow for PART 2!! :0) Happy Friday!
