Chad and Tina – Northern Virginia Maternity Photographer

There are specific aspects of my job that its safe to say I love more than the rest. Being in the room while a bride puts on her wedding gown and feeling more like a friend than a hired vendor. Hand delivering wedding images or albums and getting to watch my clients look through their photos and see the expressions on the face. One that always sticks out in my mind though as a favorite aspect of my job, is watching families grow and change. Seeing kids grow up and getting to document them year after year, or in this case, being able to photograph a family from day one. From the time they got engaged and onward. Almost exactly three years ago, I photographed Chad and Tina for their engagement photos, and I’m so thankful to say that Tina and I have kept in tough ever since. Now three years later, they are preparing for the arrival of their baby girl Lily and I am so honored that once again they have invited me to photograph this precious time for their family and that I will get to be there for her entire first year! Chad and Tina are going to be the best parents and I can tell they are so thankful for Lily already :) Here are some of my favorites from my time with them last week… Happy Wednesday! :)

couldn’t resist putting this one up from their engagement session three years ago :)
and then their beautiful wedding back in September 2009:
and now they are awaiting baby Lily! :) Love this next one! So excited that everything has officially started to bloom again here in VA!
cherry blossoms everywhere! :) love these next two and the gorgeous pink trees!! you know how people talk about that “pregnancy glow”? this shot right here is what they’re talking about! Tina, you are absolutely gorgeous!!
Happy Wednesday! :)
