and now we come to really the main reason I got to be at camp! 5 years ago when I was able to come photograph their week, we decided to set aside a few hours every day where the girls could come during free time with their baby and have a professional portrait taken, and I’m so glad we were able to make that work this week too! Every afternoon I would hang out on the club room front porch, and the girls could come have a portrait taken, and even just the immediate response I got from right then showing them the back of the camera preview was so sweet. I heard a lot of “OH MY GOSH! that looks so good! we’ve never had professional pictures taken EVER! I’m so excited! Thank you so much!” It was so encouraging and such a blessing for me to hear how much just a simple photo meant to them!
These girls are incredible and love their little ones with all of their hearts, and I’m so glad that we were able to take some photos that show them just how gorgeous they are, and how much their babies adore them :) Hope you’ve enjoyed this little glimpse into the YL camp world over these past few posts, and like I said please feel free to check out their website HERE or email me for more information about this incredible ministry! I was more than happy to snap a couple photos of these girls with their amazing mentors :) I also got to hang out with this little one in the 13-15 month old nursery I was helping with, and getting to pray for her and her beautiful mama all week long was such a privilege :) two sweet friends from college :) it was SO great to see you both! Happy Monday! :)
Thank you soooo much for being there to capture those amazing moments for us! It is greatly appreciated! The pictures came out AMAZING :) I’m the mama in the third pic down (the mom of the little baby who bonded with just about every woman he layed his eyes on!) and I was wondering if there was any way I could get more of our pictures? And again thank you!
Nice pic, Bev!
How exquisite! You captured the essence of each Mama and child…what a gift you have Jessica! What a blessing you are to them!
LOVE all these!
Awesome! I love this post!
