“hold onto hope, love
i’ve searched high and low for you”
– amy stroup
it’s a unique role that my job allows me to play on a wedding day. it’s soooo much more than just taking photos. because of the nature of my job as this particular ‘vendor’, I’m with the couple all day, so I end up being a mix of a coordinator, friend, advocate, people wrangler, boutonniere pinner, veil placer, bustle fixer, and allll of the above. I get to know the couple better than most vendors because of that, and gosh I wouldn’t have it any other way. at the end of the night, Kim graciously offered up one of the sweetest and most important compliments I could ever hope to receive: that she felt calmer on her wedding day because I was there. are you kidding me?! that’s everything to me. if I can help a couple enjoy their day a bit more, and provide them with lovely, genuine images to remember the day by, then that’s absolutely all I could hope for in this career. it truly was such a beautiful day packed full of support, love, encouragement, and the sweetest promises, and I’m so thankful to have been a small part of it! cookies are ALWAYS a great idea! :) when you realize you’ve got leftover flower petals, and decide to decorate!! ;) their reception was held at top of the town, and the view was to die for! congratulations again!! xoxo!
